Recently, you took the first few AMAZING steps to start your very own blog.
With the help of my blog post, you were able to:
Choose what to blog about
Choose a domain name
Choose and purchase your web hosting package and install
I’d like to congratulate you on getting all this done and let you know that you’re on the right track to having a great blog that’s gonna become an amazing source or side or full-time income in the near future.
I’d also like to help walk you through the process of setting up your blog.
Very likely your blog is completely (or almost completely blank). This is how all blogs start, even mine was like this once. You now have to populate your blog and make it look the way you want it to look.
Because you’re using a self-hosted blog, you’re able to choose the template of your choice (called a theme in the blogging world), the color of your choice, fonts of your choice and so much more.
In this email, I wanted to outline all the steps you need to follow to start populating your blog so that it looks professional and fully set up.
I have outlined them step by step to make this process as easy as possible for you.
Also, I’d like you to know that majority of the steps link back to video tutorials so the process will be super easy to follow.
First, log into your new WordPress blog:
To log in, go to a URL that looks like this: www.yourdomainnamehere.com/wp-admin
You will be taken to a page that looks like this (image below)
Log in using your username and password (the ones you choose when you were installing WordPress)
☐ Design a logo
☐ Create Your First Few Posts: Write 3 or more great posts that set the tone for content you will have on your blog.
