The other day I was browsing online, like I usually do and I came across a report by docebo called E-learning Marketing Trends & Forecasts 2014-2016 Report. In this report, it was calculated that e-learning grows at a rate of 7.5% annually. What? I knew the growth was high but I never thought it was that high!!!

I also found out that the worldwide market for e-learning (which includes authoring tools, learning platforms, and content) is expected to be $51.5 billion by 2016!

So, I have decided to write an article about great online tutoring jobs at home. After all, this is a way to earn income online that will enable you to have freedom. And, If you’ve read this and you resonate with my view, you know how I feel about having freedom while you’re still earning income to sustain your life.

They are now hiring online tutors. According to Student Tutor website, This is some of what they are looking for: You can be Current college students or recent grads with a GPA of 3.0 or better. You can also be a new teacher who wants some part-time after school work. In addition, you must have prior tutoring experience with 6th-12th grade students. You should also have strong math skills and the ability to explain difficult concepts for 6th-12th grade. Additionally, you should have a clean record since they run a background check. They are looking for motivated tutors who enjoy the challenge of teaching to be a part of their team. Tutor Vista is currently recruiting tutors from the streams of Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Some requirements include:

  1. You must be a post graduate in your subject
  2. You must have a computer and Broadband connection
  3. Also, you must be able to work for a minimum of 4 hours per day.
  4. You must be willing to learn new tools and technologies in the online teaching space

This is usually between $15-$20 per hour. They hire tutors from USA and India. Tutors from China, Japan, UAE and South Korea can also sign up but are limited to teaching English as a Second Language. EduWizards takes a portion of every tutor’s income, called a ‘transaction fee’ for every tutoring lesson that you successfully complete.
