They are free to join!
Unlike display ads, you can start to make money using affiliate programs with very little page views.
How do affiliate programs work?
Affiliate programs work in a special way.
Businesses, brands or people offer an affiliate program and others such as bloggers, online marketers, small or large online businesses and other social influencers will sign up to become an affiliate of any particular affiliate program that appeals to them.
The products and/or services in that affiliate program will be promoted by us bloggers and online marketers and we receive a commission when a specified action is taken. Those actions could be sales, enrollments or clicks.
Here is the list of what I believe to be really awesome affiliate programs to promote if you’re a blogger.
I have categorized the top 10 affiliate programs for bloggers below
As a blogger, one of the most popular affiliate programs that you can promote is web hosting services. Web hosting is the ability for a website or blog to be made accessible on the internet by services handled by an outside party or company (the web hosting provider). Having your website or blog accessible though is just the basic package. As a blogger, if you want to promote web hosting services, then I suggest you recommend QUALITY web hosting to your readers to build your readers confidence in you and your online business.
This type of web hosting should offer features such as
- Reliability- Promote web hosting services that will run smoothly for your readers and keep their websites or blogs up and be running at all times.
- Support- Promote web hosts that have great customer support, so that if your readers do purchase the web host that you promote, and they do experience any problem, then they can easily get in contact with a support staff who will help them solve their issue.
- Speed- We as human beings have come to love things that are fast and will quickly abandon a slow loading website or blog. Therefore, you should promote web hosting services that have a reputation for speed.
- Overall great reputation- Promote web hosting services who have been there for a while and have a great reputation with their customers

There is no payment threshold with Site Ground. You will receive your payment via PayPal once you’ve made a sale. Affiliates get paid every Wednesday.

Keyword Research Tool
If you’re a blogger in the blogging niche, then a good affiliate program to promote would be a keyword research tool that you love. Especially if you’re going to be focusing on SEO as a way to get organic traffic to your own blog or website.
A great keyword research tool to try out and promote is Jaxxy.
This is the best keyword research tool on the internet. :D. Don’t believe me? Take a look at my results with Jaxxy here. This is a very easy tool to promote because it does what it says and gives great results.

Website or Blog Themes
As a blogger or website owner, you need a great theme. Therefore, website or blog themes are one of the top 10 affiliate programs for bloggers or influencers to promote.
Because everyone wants a beautiful looking website.
There are many free website themes, especially on wordpress.org. However, because they’re free they have very limited features or functionality. Many bloggers and internet marketers know this and so they are willing to purchase their own themes, providing it’s not over priced.
When promoting themes don’t promote crap. They won’t work and that won’t make your readers who buy them happy that you’re promoting unreliable products.
I have used and recommend ThemeForest themes.
6. Theme Forest
I like themes from Themeforest, especially simple WordPress themes for bloggers. They are affordable, customizable and the theme creators provide great support. Also, many of their themes look awesome!
I do not currently have a theme from them on my blog, because I am trying to make up my mind about which theme I like and want to choose from ThemeForest for this particular blog.
However, I have used them in the past for other projects.
Every blogger is interested with email lists and newsletters. I have not started tapping into email marketing just yet, but I am collecting emails and growing my email list. Many pro bloggers claim that email marketing is an awesome income stream for online marketers or bloggers. Therefore, some great email marketing services to promote are:
One of the easiest ways to get this going is by signing up for a newsletter delivery service like Convertkit. This is a service that allows you to capture and save emails and later on send out email marketing campaigns or newsletters to help inform your subscribers of awesome deals, or your newest blog post. You can also use email campaigns to inform them of events that are going on with your blog or facebook page/group and so on.
There are many available online these days since email marketing and online marketing are so popular.
They do not offer a free trial and their service is a bit on the pricey side (at $29 monthly for 1000 email subscribers). Their service is awesome, so the price isn’t bad and your commissions will be quite nice!
You receive a monthly 30% commission from every buying customer that you refer.
Another great email marketing service with an affiliate program is MailerLite.
They offer you free email subscription services for your first 1000 email subscribers after which you will start paying for the service.
